Boeing Sucks

God I hate Boeing

Man, my job sucks. I've spent a week just trying to get access to the two new labs they assigned me to. So, basically, I've sat at my desk for a week. Every 30 minutes, I go downstairs to see if they've activated my access. And, I get paid for this!

I can't exactly see my marketable skillset improving.

Check my resume out:

NAME
ADDRESS
Objective: To get a new job, doing something. Anything really. Just something.
Experience: Boeing (2000-Present). Job entailed sitting on my ass for a week waiting to get into my lab. Then I read emails from our senior management about "lean green" and cutting wasted cost.

Education: BS Engineering. I haven't used it since going to Boeing, and I forgot most of it.

Comments:
You are just the kind of employee I have been looking for. The pay is not as good as my competitors, but the benefits are way hotter.

100% agree. The Boeing reputation is completely well deserved, but not only by their leaders. Most "original" Boeing employees are total assholes, as well. Scum sucking, back stabbing, dirt bag assholes. They make nice stuff, but the people themselves should be locked in Seattle and never allowed to leave again.

I last worked for Boeing in a non-union shop. The managers were all dog-eat-dog and regularly threw their employees under the bus to save themselves. When it was explained to me that someone didn't need to know ANYTHING about aircraft to be a manager (only how to manage people), it scared the hell out of me. This does NOT guarantee any kind of safety or quality workmanship. I have worked for Boeing 3 different times at 3 different locations and the non-union shop was WAY worse than the two union shops. The biggest ass kissers moved up the ladder, whether they knew anything or not.
We had this Employee Involvement crap in which you were supposed to find ways to cut company costs (the answers they then used were mainly the ones that screwed the workers)and you were supposed to participate in this by making suggestions on how to best screw yourself. Our hangar Senior Manager used to scream publicly in people's faces if he thought they'd put up with it. He was a sex offender on probation himself. Several of the employees were either arrested for, or on probation for, child molestation. People were overworked and stressed to the max. I was glad to leave with my sanity intact.

Same case for me only I have been sitting on my ass for about 3 years now....I left my last job in search of "better" opportunities. Man, really wish I had never left.

BOEING SUCKS BIG GREEN MOLDY WEINERS! The blogs I've read on here only scratch the surface of the problems at "one of the world's largest" aircraft manufacturers. This company and their so called managers, etc on up the ladder are a total joke! Just trying to use anything but your health insurance is a nightmare especially if you opted to pay extra for it. And just attempt to access monies from your Boeing owned and operated savings, long-term disability, etc benefits. What a joke, I just had a 45 minute conversation with a person at a Boeing office tell me that the reason that I have not received mail from that office is because their mail frequently gets list in the USPS phase of the operation. Funny when confronted with the statement that I could personally send mail from New York to Texas in as little as three days delivery time the supervisor stated that mail getting lost happens! I told her if it were something she personnally was waiting on she would be angry also! Her respond repeatedly was that she understood what I was going through.....LOL. IT's about like waiting on your HR representative to call you back, right? From the top down management is built to delay, ignore, reconstrue and frustrate you until you just throw your hands up and say its just not worth the stress to continue to fight. Employees are your greatest asset.......what a crock of ****!!!!!!!!!! You as a company could care less as ling as those assets don't make waves and do your jobs for you,,you are cool with that! Favoritism is alive and well at glorious Boeing! I would prefer to work at Circle K, at least they are hapoy when you show up. Insulting people's intelligence is as goid as it gets at BAC.

Totally aggree. I'm building the SLS Mess. All about sucking ass in non union environment. Charlston rejects infest LA. 2xcost, 2xtime
